Born and raised in Pasadena, California, Frederick Balian is filmmaker and producer working film and advertising for the past decade. After graduating from USC he dove directly into commercial production with some of the world’s biggest clients. He has produced multiple award winning music videos, narrative short films, documentaries, commercials and led ad campaigns for brands such as Nike, Jordan, Airbnb, ESPN, DoorDash and Uber among others.

Frederick founded Sura Productions in 2020 as a way to facilitate exceptional creativity and merge the gap between idea and execution.
